Old Redford Academy is hiring a Assistant JV Football Coach to join our athletic department for the upcoming Fall 2026 season!

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant JV Football Coach to join our athletic department for the upcoming Fall 2026 season. We are committed to fostering an environment of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while developing young athletes both on and off the field.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head JV Football Coach in all aspects of team management, including practice planning, game strategy, and player development.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all student-athletes.
Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to develop players' skills and understanding of the game.
Assist with organizing and supervising team practices and games.
Collaborate with the coaching staff to develop effective training programs that enhance individual and team performance.
Monitor the academic performance of student-athletes, encouraging them to maintain eligibility and balance between athletics and academics.
Support logistical tasks such as equipment management, travel arrangements, and scheduling.
Uphold the values and expectations of the [School/Organization Name] athletic program.
Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience, preferably in football, at the high school or collegiate level.
- Strong understanding of football rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Commitment to promoting a positive team culture and sportsmanship.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
