School Leader

Partner Solutions is hiring a full-time School Leader. This is a wonderful Leadership opportunity in the Metro Lansing area that offers great benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with underserved children, and the administrative skills to effectively manage instructional teams, projects, and multiple tasks. Qualified candidates will demonstrate turnaround skills and competencies to facilitate and sustain high levels of student growth and achievement, as well as a commitment to supporting the school's mission and vision.  

The School Leader will:

  • Ensure the academic success and emotional welfare of all students.

  • Execute action plans to support student performance and school turnaround initiatives.

  • Drive talent management initiatives that support staff retention and development including but not limited to professional learning, staff recognition, and staff wellness initiatives.

  • Develop and promote a positive student and staff culture.

  • Develop strategic partnerships, community engagement initiatives, and programs for school-wide success.

  • Drive the enrollment, retention, and recruitment campaign for the school including but not limited to parent and guardian engagement initiatives.

  • Administer district policies and processes concerning academics, discipline, and attendance.

  • Administer guidelines according to the Administrative Procedural Guidelines.

  • Effectively follow and execute charter contract and board policy requirements and compliance initiatives.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive school environment.

  • Develop and maintain parent-teacher collaboration.

  • Assist with planning and implementing school programs and events. 

  • Promote positive public and school-community relations.

  • Use systems thinking to solve complex problems.

  • Motivate staff and students to reach ambitious targets.

  • Maintain a balanced school budget.

  • Collaborate with other departments to support a common vision and goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

● Master's degree in administration, supervision, curriculum, or related areas.

● Meet the State school administrator’s certification or continuing education requirement.

● Three years of successful teaching experience or related experience with students. 

● Demonstrate advanced organizational and communication skills with students, parents, and staff. 

Demonstrate successful school turnaround competency and experience

● Possess a positive work history.

● Possess a solutions-oriented and innovative attitude.

● Able to manage multiple, complex projects at one time.

● Demonstrated success with meeting school enrollment targets.
