Cole Academy is seeking a part-time Food Service Support Staff at the East Lansing campus.

Schedule: 10-month position. Part-time, 20 hours per week. 

Cole Academy is a K-5 Public Charter School with campuses in Lansing and East Lansing. Cole Academy will engage and inspire our diverse students to reach their full potential through individualized instruction. 

General Job Description

• Log student lunches
• Follows directives of Food Service Lead
• Cafeteria support as directed

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Preps food as directed by the Food Service Lead
2. Maintains required yearly training
3. Logging student lunches in SchoolCafe computer Point-of-Sale (no money involved)
4. Cafeteria support as directed
5. Other duties as directed by the food service lead

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• GED or high school diploma

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Food preparation
• Good communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
